Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone with an open mind, a humble attitude and a desire to learn. A professor is not judged by his highest student. He is judged by his lowest student. In the beginning we were an elite group. Every class began with 100 push-ups, 200 jumping jacks, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, 100 dips, 25 sprawl and jumps, 20 pull-ups, 20 neck bridges front, back and spinning. We would race to finish it. New people would come in and puke. We laughed and joked on them. Everyone was a competitor and we kicked ass. All 15 of us. haha I have learned a lot since then. Now the Jiu-Jitsu experience within my clubs is very rich and diverse. I grew up and matured and so did my clubs. Jiu-Jitsu is a vehicle for growth. Everyone grows at different speeds and different ways. It is a beautiful evolution.
