We are up and running in our new dojo!
We are still located within E-town Athletic Club (EAC). However, we have moved to the featured space within the gym and have completed a awesome build out! Come train and check it out.
March 9th we had three athletes fight and win in Hardrock MMA in Bowling Green! Austin Green won in 20 seconds of round 1 via TKO. Josh Rivera won a hard fought split decision against his game opponent (who weighed in 2lbs over). Ricky Jones Junior won his professional bout via 1st round triangle choke.
We took four adults to this tournament and brought home 8 medals. 5 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze. Some awesome performances. Our sister school in Bowling Green entered 3 kids who all did wonderful winning with several armlocks and some close tough matches! Congratulations to all the competitors!
Josh Rivera lost a close decision in his 3rd amateur MMA fight in Shepardsville, Ky on Feb. 3rd. It was a standup battle that went back and forth throughout. There was enough action to garner Josh’s second Fight Of The Night honors. This lose drops his record to 2-1.
Congratulations to Shannon Montgomery for becoming the first female Black Belt of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Kentucky!
