3-0 in MMA show

March 9th we had three athletes fight and win in Hardrock MMA in Bowling Green! Austin Green won in 20 seconds of round 1 via TKO. Josh Rivera won a hard fought split decision against his game opponent (who weighed in 2lbs over). Ricky Jones Junior won his professional bout via 1st round triangle choke.

Fuji Open Bowling Green

We took four adults to this tournament and brought home 8 medals. 5 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze. Some awesome performances. Our sister school in Bowling Green entered 3 kids who all did wonderful winning with several armlocks and some close tough matches! Congratulations to all the competitors!

Rivera Fights MMA

Josh Rivera lost a close decision in his 3rd amateur MMA fight in Shepardsville, Ky on Feb. 3rd. It was a standup battle that went back and forth throughout. There was enough action to garner Josh’s second Fight Of The Night honors. This lose drops his record to 2-1.

Promotions

Growth is a beautiful thing! 21 promotions deserved and earned this week. Jigaro Kano said the ultimate goal is to perfect yourself and contribute something of value to the world. We are doing our part in developing solid citizens. Congratulations to everyone!
